The Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs are seeking a veterinarian, licensed in Oregon, to facilitate the administration of chemically immobilizing drugs. Tribal staff have attended the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife’s Chemical Immobilization training and are certified to administer the drugs. Previously operating under the license of a veterinarian that has since retired, a locked safe is still located on the premises. Staff on site have extensive experience in the logging and reporting of drug administration. Current needs include BAM for the corral capture and collaring of elk, as well as Telazol or BAM for the capture and collaring of wolves.
