Each year, the AAWV awards funding to veterinary students to facilitate participation in free-ranging wildlife veterinary externships. From now through February, applications for funding to support 2026 externship opportunities will be accepted; see below for more details. We encourage anyone interested in supporting these efforts to please consider making a donation to the organization.
